. Brix and Mortar has two different
entrances, where should I go?
Yes, Brix and Mortar has two different entrances and addresses. Please ensure you go to the entrance on 1138 Homer Street
. Are children invited?
Due to the limited capacity of our venue, children will not be able to attend our wedding, with the exception of our son, Felix. If you have a baby under one year old whom you can carry during the ceremony and reception, please feel free to bring them along.
. Will the ceremony start on time?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, with doors opening at 4:30 PM. Please arrive no earlier than 4:30 PM and no later than 5:00 PM.
. What is the dress code?
The dress code is formal; however, we want you to feel comfortable enough to dance the night away. If you prefer, you may opt for a cocktail dress code. We will also provide flat shoes for later in the evening.
. Can I bring a plus one?
Sadly we are not able to accommodate plus ones. Only the guests outlined in the invitations are invited.
. When will the party end?
We love a good party! Last call is at midnight, and the festivities will end at 1 AM. After that, we'll see where the night takes us!
. How do I get to Brix and Mortar?
Brix and Mortar is located in the heart of Yaletown, within short walking distance of the Yaletown SkyTrain station and several bus stops. The easiest way to reach our venue is by transit or Uber/taxi. If you choose to drive, there is paid street parking nearby, but please note that downtown parking can be limited and expensive.
. What if I’m a vegetarian and/or
have any food restrictions?
Don’t worry! In collaboration with the chef at Brix and Mortar, we will be creating a food menu that accommodates different diets and needs.
